Exact models, separate generations
The catalog separates hardware generations and regional versions. It focuses on setup, schedules, cue light, sound, display, included power parts and interruption behavior.
Manufacturer sources
Each model page links to the product pages, manuals and support documents used for its specifications. Source dates appear with the reference list.
How the matcher works
A required feature passes only when a source explicitly supports it. A missing specification cannot pass a must-have filter. Matcher results stay alphabetical. The catalogue and the situation picks are ordered by confirmed US listing, then current-model status, then how many of the compared controls are documented for that exact model; commission and retailer relationships never influence any order.
When specifications change
The catalog carries a date for the manufacturer material we read. Firmware, packaging and regional accessories may change after that date. Models with a narrower market or older hardware version are identified on their pages.
A feature stops qualifying for the matcher 90 days after its source was reviewed. A dated specification page remains available as a reference, but old sources cannot establish a current match. An open cue sheet is withdrawn if the supporting sources pass that review window; your entered times stay in the form.
What we do not rate
We do not score durability, ease of use, child response, sound quality or health outcomes. Battery operation and settings memory are separate: a memory cell does not necessarily keep a light or alarm working.
Correcting a specification
A correction is checked against the exact product and generation before updating its model page and affected comparisons. The contact page explains the available correction route.
What to check in your own home
We have not measured sound quality, button clarity, durability or resistance to a child changing settings. While support or return options are available, check your exact setup path, signal, usable brightness and volume, lock behavior, placement, caregiver access and documented outage/reconnect steps. Use the manufacturer’s test instructions rather than an improvised reset.
