US manual v6.0 · US · Manual reference; current sales not confirmed
The tradeoff to know
The yellow night-light is started by hand and turns off automatically. It is not a bedtime schedule. Current sales are not confirmed, and the rear control door is not documented as a child lock.
Set this clock up
- Check the label against 8091 and these US v6.0 instructions. This page does not cover Teach Me Time!, the owl or another revision.
- Hold SET until SET flashes. Choose the time-display format with HOUR, press SET, then adjust the current time with HOUR and MIN. Check AM or PM and press SET to save. For the green wake light, hold WAKE until SET TO WAKE flashes, adjust its time with HOUR and MIN, then press WAKE to save. The OK TO WAKE indicator should stay visible.
- For an audible alarm, hold ALARM REVIEW until SET and the bell flash. Adjust its time with HOUR and MIN, then press ALARM REVIEW to save. If you want only the green light, use ALARM ON/OFF to leave the alarm off. Tap ALARM REVIEW to check whether a time or OFF appears. The bell and wake-light indicators describe different settings.
- For a nap, hold NAP until SET NAP flashes. Choose a duration with HOUR and MIN, then use WAKE to choose green light, sound or both. Press NAP again to start the countdown; the flashing colon shows it is running. Its allowable duration range is not confirmed here.
- Use AUTO-OFF to choose how long the yellow night-light and green wake light remain on. If the light has already gone out when you look, check that setting as well as the wake time.
The manual says this clock is not a toy, must not be placed in bed and is not suitable for children under 36 months. Keep the cord out of reach. Adults should handle battery changes and follow the manual’s battery instructions.
Check the age warning and cue readiness separately.

If a schedule or cue is not confirmed for this model, we leave it out when you require that control. The comparison table shows which detail is missing.
A nap countdown and a second wake time work differently. The planner keeps them separate.
Without Wi-Fi or a phone
The documented schedule settings can be edited on the clock without internet.
Saved scheduled cues can run without Wi-Fi.
The documented local controls do not depend on an internet connection.
Power and what happens in an outage
The manual calls four AA batteries backup but does not specify which cues keep running during an outage or what is retained after all power is removed. Recheck the time and enabled cue before relying on them.

Check it in your home
While your support or return options are available, try the exact controls you will use. These are checks for you to make; we have not tested this clock.
- Find the button or app path for changing and enabling a cue. Check the actual symbol, light and sound you selected.
- Check brightness, volume and the clock’s position using its placement instructions. Confirm what the lock does and which controls remain accessible.
- Use the manufacturer’s documented test or preview path to check your setup. Avoid an improvised reset or disconnect test.
- Have the next caregiver try their own access. Read the outage, reconnect and reset instructions before you need them.
Agree on the cue’s meaning and a fallback, then keep the exact manual or support page with your plan.
Write a household cue card for this clock.
If a cue does not run, check the time, mode and power before resetting the clock.
