V3 manual, 2022-04 · UK, EU · Availability varies

The tradeoff to know

It has one daily wake time, no bedtime schedule or nap timer, no published battery runtime, and current direct stock is limited.

Setup and everyday controls

Settings are entered on the clock. No app is needed for setup, and no account is required.

Access for another caregiver

Caregivers use the clock’s physical controls; app invitations are not part of this setup. Check the exact button sequence and lock before handing over. This does not establish resistance to a child changing settings.

If a schedule or cue is not confirmed for this model, we leave it out when you require that control. The comparison table shows which detail is missing.

A pre-wake cue starts 30 minutes before the chosen wake time.

A nap countdown and a second wake time work differently. The planner keeps them separate.

Without Wi-Fi or a phone

The documented schedule settings can be edited on the clock without internet.

Saved scheduled cues can run without Wi-Fi.

The documented local controls do not depend on an internet connection.

Power and what happens in an outage

The built-in rechargeable battery operates the clock away from the charging base; ZAZU advises charging each morning but publishes no runtime in the manual.

Subscription and included parts

The core wake cue does not require a paid subscription.

  • Pam sleep trainer
  • Charging base
  • USB cable

Separate the core clock features from paid extras.

Check it in your home

While your support or return options are available, try the exact controls you will use. These are checks for you to make; we have not tested this clock.

  • Find the button or app path for changing and enabling a cue. Check the actual symbol, light and sound you selected.
  • Check brightness, volume and the clock’s position using its placement instructions. Confirm what the lock does and which controls remain accessible.
  • Use the manufacturer’s documented test or preview path to check your setup. Avoid an improvised reset or disconnect test.
  • Have the next caregiver try their own access. Read the outage, reconnect and reset instructions before you need them.

Agree on the cue’s meaning and a fallback, then keep the exact manual or support page with your plan.

Write a household cue card for this clock.
